What is all the hoopla?

Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. We have hundreds of thousands of titles to choose from, with more being added daily. hoopla is like having your public library at your fingertips. Anytime. Anywhere.”


If you are a member of the Anderson Public Library, you can use your library card number to enjoy 10 instant digital titles to stream or download each month.

How do I access hoopla?

On a computer:

Go to https://www.hoopladigital.com/

Click on the button that says “Get Started Today”

Enter your Email address and create a password for your new hoopla account.

Select “Anderson Co Public Library” from the list and click the button that says “Next.” You may have to enable location services on your device to find APL on the list.

Enter your library card number (found on your library card beneath the bar code) and the PIN you use to check out books and click the button that says “Sign Me Up.”

You will get a dialog box with information about your hoopla account. Click on the button that says “Done.”
